Superintendent Griffin started his career in education as a substitute kindergarten teacher. After becoming a full-time teacher, he taught kindergarten, second grade, seventh grade, and eighth grade before becoming a principal. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Eric-Griffin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"239\" height=\"320\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-168877\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Eric-Griffin.png 239w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Eric-Griffin-224x300.png 224w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 239px) 100vw, 239px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Prior to becoming MTUESD\u2019s superintendent, he was Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment for Chowchilla Elementary School District.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cGrowing up in a small town gave me the respect and understanding of our small community\u2019s needs,\u201d explained Superintendent Griffin. \u201cMy goal is to capitalize on the district\u2019s many strengths, to continuously improve the programs and services we are providing the students of Angels Camp and Copperopolis.
