It operates on a first-come, first-served basis. You must register in person, space is limited and participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent to sign a waiver. The Pond Skim kicks off at 11:00am.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re thrilled to team up with the Bear Valley Parents Group\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bearvalleyparentsgroup.com\/\">https:\/\/www.bearvalleyparentsgroup.com\/<\/a>\u00a0to bring you the Brewfest portion of the event. The Brewfest will showcase a range of beer and wine selections. All proceeds from the Brewfest will go towards supporting the Busy Bears Playschool and Bear Valley Summer Day Camp!<\/p>\n<p>The Parents Group will be stationed outside the Bear Bungalow, serving beer and wine from 12 PM to 3 PM.<\/p>\n<p>This year, we\u2019re delighted to announce the participation of 805!<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the main events, we\u2019ll also be hosting a costume contest (separate from the Pond Skim Contest). Interested participants should gather on the sun deck outside the Bear Bungalow right after the end of the Pond Skim.<\/p>\n<p>Costume contest categories include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Most Creative Group Costume<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Best Retro Outfit<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Most Creative Children\u2019s Costume<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">Most Creative Couple Costume<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The party doesn\u2019t end on the mountain!!
