San Andreas, CA…Meet Mr. Jaggar, a\u00a0neutered male Pit Bull, estimated to be around 9 years old and weighing 60 pounds. If only this guy could talk! I bet we\u2019d hear a great story. Jaggar\u00a0was adopted from the shelter 7 years ago and is surprised to find himself back with us. No one has come to reclaim him in spite of his microchip.<\/p>\n

He is a quiet gentle boy who enjoys attention. Jaggar\u00a0is a volunteer fave who greets all with affection.<\/p>\n

He enjoys walks and has excellent leash manners. Jaggar\u00a0is quiet in his kennel and ignores reactive dogs.<\/p>\n

Jaggar\u00a0is looking for a cozy spot to call home.\u00a0Do you have room for him? Since he\u2019s neutered he can be yours right away.<\/p>\n

A meet \u2019n greet is required\u00a0if you have another dog.<\/p>\n

All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
\nWhen the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
