Lucy\u00a0is smart; she has already learned \u201csit\u201d and her leash walking skills improve daily. She would be a good motivator for hiking or jogging. And just imagine waking up to this face!<\/p>\n
She will enjoy playing ball with you, bringing it back within 5 feet. A dip in the pool is one of her fun activities. Lucy\u00a0is friendly with most other dogs and wants to play.<\/p>\n
Blackjack is her best friend; they have had many playdates, however, a meet \u2019n greet is required\u00a0if you have another dog.<\/p>\n

All dogs available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n
Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
\nWhen the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
