San Andreas, CA…We would like to introduce SHILOH, a handsome black and white tuxedo who is about a year old. He is at the shelter after being rescued from a home with unhealthy living conditions. Shiloh is our \u201cshy boy.\u201d But after lots of loving attention from shelter volunteers and staff, he is finally coming out of his shell. He is super sweet and gentle and has a calm, quiet personality. His adopter should expect it to take him a while to adjust to changes in a new environment. When Shiloh gets to know you, he is quite loving and can be very playful, especially with a toy on a cat wand. The white whiskers are his trademark.<\/p>\n

Shiloh came from a multi-cat household and may be most comfortable if there is another friendly kitty in the home, especially his best friend, GLINDA. Come see these two. He and she will be wonderful companions or family cats and will do well in a home where they will have time to adjust and get the love, attention and affection they deserve.<\/p>\n

Since Shiloh has been neutered, he can go home with you right away. Please inquire at Animal Services about Glinda\u2019s age and neuter status(A056144).<\/p>\n

Please use Shiloh\u2019s intake number (A056166) when making inquiries at the shelter.All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up-to-date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped. All unaltered cats and dogs must be spayed or neutered before they can go home with you.<\/p>\n

Animal Services now has a Fee Flexibility Program!
\nWhen the dog or cat population at the shelter is at 80% or above capacity, the total adoption fee will be 50% off\u2013\u2013reduced to $40 for dogs and $30 for cats. The adoption fee for cats who arrive at the shelter already altered will be $10. With the 55-5-5 Program, any time an adopter is 55 or older and adopts any pet over 5 years old, the adoption fee is $5.<\/p>\n
