\/>\n3:08<br \/>\nof<br \/>\n3:09<br \/>\nJune the general weighed the options and<br \/>\n3:13<br \/>\ngave the order at dawn the Allies would<br \/>\n3:18<br \/>\nstrike the great crusade to free Europe<br \/>\n3:21<br \/>\nfrom tyranny would<br \/>\n3:23<br \/>\nbegin that night General Eisenhower<br \/>\n3:27<br \/>\ndrove to the English town of Newbury<br \/>\n3:30<br \/>\nto visit paratroopers of 101st<br \/>\n3:33<br \/>\nAirborne there were men from All Over<br \/>\n3:37<br \/>\nAmerica it was estimated that<br \/>\n3:40<br \/>\n80% of them would be killed within hours<br \/>\n3:44<br \/>\nthat was the<br \/>\n3:45<br \/>\nestimate but they were Brave they were<br \/>\n3:49<br \/>\nResolute and they were<br \/>\n3:51<br \/>\nready one soldier told General<br \/>\nAmerica just walk the roads of this<br \/>\n7:29<br \/>\ncemeteries I have nearly 10,000 Heroes<br \/>\n7:33<br \/>\nburied side by<br \/>\n7:35<br \/>\nside officers and enlisted immigrants<br \/>\n7:39<br \/>\nand native born different races<br \/>\n7:42<br \/>\ndifferent faiths but all<br \/>\n7:45<br \/>\nAmericans all sered with honor when<br \/>\n7:48<br \/>\nAmerica and the world needed them<br \/>\n7:51<br \/>\nmost Millions back home did their part<br \/>\n7:54<br \/>\nas well from coast to coast Americans<br \/>\n7:57<br \/>\nfound countless ways to pitch in<br \/>\n8:00<br \/>\nthey understood our democracy is only as<br \/>\n8:02<br \/>\nstrong as all of us make it<br \/>\n8:06<br \/>\ntogether the men who fought here became<br \/>\n8:09<br \/>\nHeroes not because they were the<br \/>\n8:11<br \/>\nstrongest or toughest or were fiercest<br \/>\n8:14<br \/>\nalthough they were but because they were<br \/>\n8:16<br \/>\ngiven an audacious Mission<br \/>\n8:20<br \/>\nknowing every one of them knew the<br \/>\n8:23<br \/>\nprobability of dying was real but they<br \/>\n8:26<br \/>\ndid it<br \/>\n8:27<br \/>\nanyway they knew<br \/>\n8:30<br \/>\nBeyond any<br \/>\n8:31<br \/>\ndoubt there are things that are worth<br \/>\n8:33<br \/>\nfighting and dying<br \/>\n8:36<br \/>\nfor freedom is worth it democracy is<br \/>\n8:41<br \/>\nworth it America is worth it the world<br \/>\n8:45<br \/>\nis worth it then now and<br \/>\n8:50<br \/>\nalways the war in Europe didn&#8217;t end for<br \/>\n8:52<br \/>\nanother 11<br \/>\n8:54<br \/>\nmonths but here the tide turned in our<br \/>\n8:58<br \/>\nfavor here<br \/>\n9:00<br \/>\nwe proved the forces of Liberty are<br \/>\n9:02<br \/>\nstronger than the forces of<br \/>\n9:04<br \/>\nConquest here we proved that the ideals<br \/>\n9:08<br \/>\nof our democracy are stronger than any<br \/>\n9:10<br \/>\narmy or combination of armies in the<br \/>\n9:12<br \/>\nentire<br \/>\n9:13<br \/>\nworld we prove something else here as<br \/>\n9:16<br \/>\nwell the unbreakable Unity of the<br \/>\n9:21<br \/>\nAllies here with us our men who served<br \/>\n9:25<br \/>\nalongside the Americans that<br \/>\n9:27<br \/>\nday we different flags in their arms but<br \/>\n9:31<br \/>\nfighting with the same courage for the<br \/>\n9:34<br \/>\nsame<br \/>\n9:36<br \/>\npurpose what the Allies did together 80<br \/>\n9:38<br \/>\nyears ago far surpassed anything we<br \/>\n9:42<br \/>\ncould have done on our<br \/>\n9:44<br \/>\nown it was a powerful illustration of<br \/>\n9:48<br \/>\nhow alliances real alliances make us<br \/>\n9:51<br \/>\nstronger a lesson that I<br \/>\n9:54<br \/>\npray we Americans never<br \/>\n9:57<br \/>\nforget together we want the war we<br \/>\n10:01<br \/>\nrebuilt Europe including our former<br \/>\n10:03<br \/>\nenemies was an investment in what became<br \/>\n10:06<br \/>\nshared and a prosperous<br \/>\n10:09<br \/>\nfuture we established<br \/>\n10:12<br \/>\nNATO the greatest military Alliance in<br \/>\n10:14<br \/>\nthe history of the<br \/>\n10:16<br \/>\nworld and over<br \/>\n10:18<br \/>\ntime you got it it<br \/>\n10:22<br \/>\nis and over time we brought more Nations<br \/>\n10:27<br \/>\ninto NATO the NATO Alli Alliance<br \/>\n10:30<br \/>\nincluding the newest members Finland and<br \/>\n10:39<br \/>\nSweden<br \/>\n10:41<br \/>\ntoday NATO stands at 32 count strong<br \/>\n10:45<br \/>\nstrong and NATO is more united than ever<br \/>\n10:49<br \/>\nand even more prepared to keep the peace<br \/>\n10:51<br
