Rail Road Flat, CA…(Update as of 6:44pm…Tankers have been released and fire has been mapped at 12.2 acres.
\nGreat work firefighters!! lots of work left to be done but as you can tell from the latest photo where there is no smoke there probably is no fire.) (Update as of 5:25pm…Air Attack says they have retardant around a good portion of the fire and fire remains in the 5-10 acre range. Additional radio traffic says they are setting up hard road closures in the fire area) (Update…Air attack now overhead and says fire has potential for 20 acres or so unless it gets established in drainage. Two additional air tankers and other ground assets ordered.) Firefighters are working at last report the 5 acre Silver Fire. Cameras are showing smoke output. Air and ground assets are arriving now.<\/p>\n
