{"id":183544,"date":"2024-09-20T14:21:36","date_gmt":"2024-09-20T21:21:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=183544"},"modified":"2024-09-20T15:04:19","modified_gmt":"2024-09-20T22:04:19","slug":"fire-restrictions-still-in-effect-as-hunting-season-gears-up","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=183544","title":{"rendered":"Fire Restrictions Still in Effect as Hunting Season Gears Up"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sonora, CA&#8230;As hunters take to the forest on the quest for that elusive buck, the Stanislaus National Forest would like to remind everyone that fire restrictions still exist in both Moderate and High Hazard Fire areas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Maps of the affected areas are in the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/goto\/STFForestOrders\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.fs.usda.gov\/goto\/STFForestOrders&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1726953500342000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3ZPb0UyqX2deLFHk36hceg\">Forest Order<\/a>\u00a0as Exhibit A. Below is a list of prohibited activities with the restrictions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discharging a firearm. Pursuant to 36 C.F.R. 261.50(e) persons possessing a valid California hunting license are not exempted from this prohibition.
