Muprhys, CA…Slightly Stoopid was discovered by Sublime\u2019s Bradley Nowell in 1995. Co-founders Miles Doughty and Kyle McDonald were still in high school in San Diego when they inked a deal with Nowell\u2019s indie label Skunk Records. Fusing rock, reggae, and blues with hip-hop, funk, American folk, metal, and punk, Slightly Stoopid forged their sonic legacy on the road, selling out venues across the world and bringing their SoCal vibes to festivals like Coachella,\u202fLollapalooza,\u202fNew Orleans Jazz Fest, Austin City Limits and more. Albums like Everything You Need (2003), Closer to the Sun (2005) and Chronchitis (2007) feature summertime classics \u201c2am\u201d and \u201cCloser to the Sun.\u201d<\/p>\n
