{"id":184516,"date":"2024-10-15T12:51:46","date_gmt":"2024-10-15T19:51:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=184516"},"modified":"2024-10-15T12:51:46","modified_gmt":"2024-10-15T19:51:46","slug":"cosgrove-creek-vegetation-management-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=184516","title":{"rendered":"Cosgrove Creek Vegetation Management 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Valley Springs, CA&#8230;Calaveras County will continue the Annual Vegetation Removal Project along Cosgrove Creek, near Valley Springs.\u00a0 The project is scheduled to begin on October 17 and will continue through mid-November.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-158474\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo.jpg 370w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo-300x300.jpg 300w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/CountyLogo-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 250px) 100vw, 250px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Calaveras County is working with a local landscape maintenance firm and CalFire to conduct the work this season.\u00a0 Entering the creek on-foot and using hand-tools such as weed-eaters and chainsaws, crews will clear vegetative material and debris in the riparian corridor along an approximate two-mile section of Cosgrove Creek, south of Valley Springs from Gold Creek Estates to Silver Rapids Road.\u00a0 This section of the creek is bordered by State Route 26, traverses a golf course, and passes through populated neighborhoods.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This project will occur during normal business hours, from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, weekdays.\u00a0 Crews working with chain saws and other equipment will generate noise during daytime hours.\u00a0 We ask for your patience and that you exercise extra caution when workers are present.
