{"id":185369,"date":"2024-11-12T12:40:32","date_gmt":"2024-11-12T20:40:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=185369"},"modified":"2024-11-12T12:40:32","modified_gmt":"2024-11-12T20:40:32","slug":"pile-burning-to-begin-across-mi-wok-summit-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=185369","title":{"rendered":"Pile Burning to Begin Across Mi-Wok\/Summit District"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sonora, CA&#8230;(November 12, 2024) \u2013 Firefighters with the Stanislaus National Forest\u2019s Mi-Wok\/Summit Ranger District will begin pile burning operations, effective today, in the area of Clark\u2019s Fork Road and Montgomery Meadow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo-150x169.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Resources intend to burn approximately 50-75 acres a day with a goal of 200 acres for the week. Burn Boss for the operation will be Jake Trevino with one Wildland Fire Module (a specially trained ten-person hand crew) as well as three engines assigned to the burn operation.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCurrently we have over 60,000 piles within 10,000 acres across the 2 districts.
