Party 2 (P-2, Giannini) was driving his truck (V-2), the same direction, the second car behind the patrol vehicle (V-1). CHP Officer Wade observed a vehicle following too close to the vehicle ahead of it coming towards him in the southbound lane.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpama.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37823\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpama.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpama.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpama-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpama-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Officer Wade attempted to make a traffic stop on the violator. He pulled into China Road on his right to begin a U-turn. He allowed the first vehicle behind him to pass by, then entered the northbound lane in an attempted U-turn. The front left of the patrol vehicle crashed into the right side of V-2, in V-2&#8217;s lane. V-1 and V-2 pulled over to the right shoulder. No one was injured during this crash.
