He loves chasing toys, cozy naps, and soaking up affection. Newt shares a special bond with his brother, Beetle, who has been by his side since birth. They spend their days playing, napping, and keeping each other company. Newt feels most secure when Beetle is nearby, and they bring out the best in each other. Ideally, they should be adopted together, as they’re a perfect pair who thrive in each other’s company. Rescued as young kittens without a mother, they’re best suited for an indoor-only home where they can feel safe and loved. Newt and Beetle are ready to bring warmth and companionship to a caring family.

Contact: Calaveras County Animal Services (209) 754-6509 or animal@co.calaveras.ca.us

Please use Newt’s intake number (A057480) when making inquiries at the shelter.

All cats available for adoption at the Calaveras Animal Shelter are up to date on their routine vaccinations and will be microchipped.
