He will be reporting for duty on Monday, January 27, 2025.  Mr. Martin comes to the County with a bachelor\u2019s degree in public works administration and over 25 years of relevant private and public sector experience. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/calpublicworks.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/calpublicworks.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"362\" height=\"543\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-187493\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/calpublicworks.jpg 362w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/calpublicworks-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 362px) 100vw, 362px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Below is a summary of the positions he has held in the field:<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nGeneral Superintendent for a private sector construction company (HPD, Inc.) involved with a variety of public works projects for municipalities (including street maintenance contracts) and utility companies in southern California.<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nSenior Public Works Inspector for the City of Fontana<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nPublic Works Supervisor for the City of Morgan Hill<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nMaintenance and Operations Manager for the City of West Covina<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nDeputy Director of Public Works for the City of Newport Beach<br \/>\n\u2022<br \/>\nPublic Works Services Director for the City of Rancho Cucamonga<br \/>\nMr. Martin\u2019s experience is not limited to just street and road construction and maintenance.
