<\/a><\/p>\nMargie was born in New York and raised in Whittier, California. After receiving a bachelor\u2019s degree from Ohio Wesleyan University, she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she began her career as a teacher. She married Jerome Fairman and raised their sons in Cupertino, California. While in Cupertino, she worked as a special education resource specialist for the Crippled Children\u2019s Society and San Jose Unified School District and spent a stint running her own tutoring support business. She obtained a master\u2019s degree from San Jose State University in education.<\/p>\n
After retiring, she moved full time to the family\u2019s mountain home in Arnold, California, spending her retirement in peace among the trees and mountains of the central Sierra. She spent the last few years in San Jose, close to her son. A celebration of life will be held on March 1, 2025, at 1 pm at the Los Gatos Lodge, 50 Los Gatos – Saratoga Road, Los Gatos, CA 95032.
