At 12,500 acres, dog friendly New Melones is one of the largest reservoirs in California! Accessible year round, with 19 multi-use trails to choose from. Expand the above map to see trail length and skill level.\u00a0MTBProject.com<\/a>\u00a0describes the\u00a0Glory Hole Loop<\/a>\u00a0at New Melones as \u201c\u2026a very scenic track, combining fast downhills with rolling single track and a short steep fire road climb. It is arguably the best single track in the area. The Glory Hole Loop Ride is rated as intermediate level with no real technical sections, rated higher because of the extremely steep fire road climb and the following steep switchback downhill.<\/p>\n
