Founded in 1977 by Bill and Linda Spence, Spence Ranch Feed & Supply has served as a trusted resource for local farmers, ranchers, and livestock exhibitors for nearly 50 years. Known not only for their expertise and service but also for their generosity during emergencies, the Spence family has consistently gone above and beyond to support the community.<\/p>\n

After Linda\u2019s passing in 2001, Patti Spence assumed leadership of the family business, continuing the tradition of excellence and community service. The family\u2019s dedication reaches far beyond their storefront: Tom Spence has served as both a firefighter and police officer, while Ron Spence carries on the family\u2019s ranching legacy and regularly assists with deliveries to the fairgrounds. For generations, the Spence children and grandchildren have exhibited livestock at the fair, reinforcing their deep roots in Calaveras County\u2019s agricultural heritage.<\/p>\n

In 2003, Bill married Eloise Fischer, and together they remain active in numerous local agricultural organizations, including the Calaveras County Farm Bureau, the Calaveras Cattlemen\u2019s Association, and TuCare.<\/p>\n

Today, three generations of the Spence family continue to operate Spence Ranch Feed & Supply, ensuring the family\u2019s legacy of service and support lives on.<\/p>\n
