Murphys, CA \u2013 The beloved community fundraiser Chicken in a Barrel is back on Saturday, June 7 from 12\u20135 PM at Murphys Community Park \u2014and it\u2019s shaping up to be our biggest event yet! All proceeds support the students of Albert Michelson Elementary School , and the entire community is invited to come out, enjoy a delicious meal, and have a blast while supporting local students.<\/p>\n

Meal tickets are on sale now online and in person at the Murphys Pourhouse \u2014and they\u2019re going fast! This year, we\u2019re thrilled to offer our classic barrel-roasted chicken meals AND, for the first time ever, Lockeford Sausage meals . These mouthwatering meals are a must-try, and all proceeds benefit vital school programs.<\/p>\n

The fun kicks off early with our online auction , going live Friday, May 23 and closing Friday, June 6 . The auction is packed with incredible, locally donated items from generous businesses throughout the community. Don\u2019t miss your chance to score some amazing finds while supporting our school!<\/p>\n

The event itself will be full of family-friendly fun, including:

\n\u25cf Ebbetts Pass Cornhole tournaments for kids and adults
\n\u25cf Live music, beer & local wine \u25cf Raffle prizes , a dunk tank with fun community guests
