San Andreas, CA…Larry Wade Kent born Dec. 22, 1939 in Springfield, OH, passed June 30, 2025 in San Andreas, CA. Larry passed at age 85 1\/2 years after a long battle with Alzheimer’s dementia and three strokes.\u00a0 He earned an associate’s degree from American River College. In 1958, he served in the United States Marine Corps. and received an honorable discharge.<\/p>\n

Larry dedicated 35 years to the Probation Department and served as Chief Probation Officer in Calaveras County from 1992 to 1999.<\/p>\n

Larry is survived by his wife of 26 1\/2 years, Lori Wade; his son Tom; daughter Kim Wade; grandchildren, Sierra, Kassi and Melina; great grandchildren, Rayne, Kora, Viridian, and Ezekiel; and his sister Beverly Harkrider.
\nLarry was predeceased by his first wife Jeannie Spargo.<\/p>\n

Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 8, 2025, 11:00 A.M. at the San Andreas Memorial Chapel, in San Andreas, CA. Burial will follow at the People’s Cemetery in San Andreas, CA.<\/p>\n
