The distillery worked with a carefully selected extra-aged rye whiskey (53% rye 47%) corn from Canada by extending its aging process at Hinterhaus\u2019 4000ft elevation in the California Sierra mountains.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cWe age traditionally in our distillery\u2019s non-temp controlled aging warehouse which enjoys 4 distinctive seasons and plenty of drastic temperature swings throughout the year,\u201d explains Hinterhaus co-owner Bonnie Boglioli-Randall. \u201cWe chose a road less travelled for this special rye by putting it into our own ex-bourbon casks which also aged stout beer for a nearby brewery for over 3 years.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trapper\u2019s Oath 21 Year Rye will be available for purchase while supplies last at the distillery\u2019s bottle shop, on its website for shipping, and at select retailers in CA through the LibDib distribution platform.
