Aged in a combination of Hinterhaus ex-American Single Malt casks and new medium toast #3 charred oak, the distillery finished this sumptuous single malt in an 11 year old California Port French Oak cask.<\/p>\n<p>Full malting and aging transparency is listed on the label. As is always the case with Hinterhaus whiskeys, this product is non-chill filtered and without added colorants. Due to its limited nature, this product is currently only available at Hinterhaus Distilling\u2019s bottle shop in Arnold, CA. Future batches may be available for shipping. The distillery offers a second American Single Malt product, Discovery, which is available at select CA and CO retailers as well as on the distillery\u2019s website for shipping: www.HinterhausDistilling.com<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt Hinterhaus, being a part of the American Single Malt landscape has influenced everything we do,\u201d says Randall. \u201cWe are eager to add a distinctively northern California approach to this age-old style of whiskey and look forward to what the future holds.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>About Hinterhaus Distilling<br \/>\nFounded in 2020 by husband and wife team Nate and Bonnie Randall, Hinterhaus Distilling\u2019s offerings reflect the rugged mountainscape of its Sierra Nevada perch. Sourcing high-quality local ingredients while utilizing fresh Sierra water and collaborations, the distillery is operated by the Randall family. It sits in the tourist destination of Arnold, CA, amidst the Stanislaus National Forest, at an elevation of 4300 ft.
