<\/a><\/p>\nSheila graduated from Holy Names Catholic High School in 1955.\u00a0Although she received a college scholarship, she chose to work in order to help support her husband through college, always putting others before herself. After raising their three children, she returned\u00a0to college and proudly earned her\u00a0bachelor’s degree. Sheila\u00a0worked in the Human Resources Department for Hitachi America. After retirement,\u00a0she continued volunteering for her church and became a Long Term Care Ombudsman for Catholic Charities. She enjoyed being able to give back and to assist seniors living in skilled nursing facilities.<\/p>\n
Sheila was described as a person you would immediately become attached to.\u00a0Her beautiful smile and bright shining Irish green eyes were hard to resist. Her huge heart and kind ways captured those that met her. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and was the proud host of the annual McIntyre Easter Reunion. She moved from her home of 42 years in Sunnyvale to start a new journey in Angels Camp, where she lived closer to her family. She instantly made new friends at the Murphy’s Senior Center, where she\u00a0spent the last\u00a0seven\u00a0years playing pinochle.\u00a0She enjoyed her new friends, neighborhood, church, the beautiful country and most of all being close to her family.<\/p>\n
She leaves behind her loving husband Walter B. McIntyre; her children\u00a0Kathleen Fisher (Tim), Deanna Holden (Brant), Chela McIntyre (daughter in law); her grandchildren Joshua McIntyre (Alexandra), Callan Fisher (Hannah), Robert Holden, Brant Fadenrecht Jr.; her\u00a0great grandchildren, Henry and Barron. Sheila was preceded in death by her son,\u00a0Blaine S. McIntyre.<\/p>\n
A life that touches others goes on forever.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Service will be held on December 1, 2025 at 12:00 noon at St. Patrick\u2019s Catholic Church, 820 South Main Street, Angels Camp, CA. Reception to follow at the church hall.<\/p>\n
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to support tuition assistance at Holy Names High School.
