<\/a><\/p>\nMountain Melody came together as a group 20 years ago, and the mostly Calaveras ensemble continues to bring sophistication and beautifully blended voices to all types of choral music. Members hail from Mountain Ranch, Valley Springs, Mokelumne Hill, San Andreas, Angels Camp, Murphys, and Fiddletown, and some have been singing with the chorus since its inception.<\/p>\n
The holiday program is always a special treat for audiences. Along with the title song \u201cPure Imagination,\u201d the choir will perform such classics as \u201cSleigh Ride\u201d and \u201cChristmas Waltz,\u201d as well as new favorites like \u201cSing Gently\u201d and \u201cWalking in the Air.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOur music showcases our talented, dedicated singers and our piano accompanist, with a program designed to transport listeners to sparkling worlds of holiday beauty,\u201d said Mountain Melody Director Julia Shelby.<\/p>\n
