About the Competition
\nThe Calaveras Rodeo Queen, Jr. Queen, and Princess Competition seeks versatile young women who exemplify grace, intelligence, strong character, and a passion for community service. Contestants should be articulate, confident, sincere, and committed to representing the Calaveras County Fair & Jumping Frog Jubilee for a full one-year reign.<\/p>\n
Titleholders serve as role models to young women throughout the community and make numerous public appearances at local events. Contestants may obtain sponsorships to help cover costs associated with the competition.<\/p>\n
Winners of the Calaveras Rodeo Queen titles (Queen, 1st Princess, and 2nd Princess) will be awarded scholarships ranging from $5,000 to $1,000.<\/p>\n
Eligibility Requirements
\nSenior Queen: Ages 16\u201326 (must be 16 by May 11, 2026)
\nJunior Queen: Ages 13\u201315 (must be 13 by May 11, 2026)
\nPrincess: Ages 9\u201312 (must be 9 by May 11, 2026)
\nMust reside in one of the following counties: Calaveras, Amador, Tuolumne, Alpine, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, or Merced
\nMust not be living with a male in lieu of marriage
\nCannot be engaged
\nMust have no criminal convictions
\nMust maintain a cumulative 2.0 GPA or higher, verified
\nNo visible body piercings (other than traditional ear piercings) or tattoos
\nMust maintain appropriate attire at all times
\nMust be committed to fulfilling public appearance obligations throughout the reign
