Bear Valley, CA…We are pleased to reopen today for cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and tubing. The much anticipated multi-day storm, which lacked gusto during the first couple of days, finally delivered a healthy dose of fresh snow yesterday. We are still taking measurements and will update snow totals later this morning.<\/p>\n

This morning, the snowcat drivers are focusing on reopening trails that were available before the storm. Afterward, they will work on opening new trails, but there is still a tremendous amount of water in the meadow and trail system. Time is the key factor to let the water find its way to the Stanislaus River. We also purchased a new high-powered water pump yesterday to help with the process. More on that later \ud83d\ude09<\/div>\n
