<\/a><\/p>\nGrape brandy production began in the middle ages in wine-growing regions around the world, which is why it’s a no-brainer for us to craft here as a Californian distiller.<\/p>\n
Shining a spotlight on our Sierra region, we distilled a ‘Bordeaux blend’ of red wine from local vintners in Murphys, CA, and aged the brandy for 3+ years in our 4500ft barrel warehouse in own ex-bourbon casks. We bottled this small batch delight at 100 Proof to emphasize the aromas and flavor profile of this distinctive spirit.<\/p>\n
The result is a refined and inviting pour with notes of dulce de leche, flan, plum, and candied fruit. Uniquely, it has appeal with both bourbon and non-bourbon lovers.<\/p>\n
Serve it in a snifter or large wine glass to delight the senses, or use in a winter HOT TODDY, HOT BUTTERED BRANDY (now served on our winter distillery cocktail menu), in a SIDECAR (also featured this winter on our menu), or in any BRANDY OLD FASHIONED (always available in our distillery tasting lounge).<\/p>\n
