<\/a><\/p>\nUpon arrival, officers located the involved parties and conducted an investigation as to what occurred. It was determined that one of the involved subjects, 38-year-old David Jacklich from the Mountain Ranch area, began following the other subject, making threatening statements. <\/p>\n
Jacklich brandished a knife, causing the victim to fear for his safety and attempted to leave the area. Jacklich chased after and struck the victim with a belt multiple times. The victim was ultimately able to take Jacklich to the ground, with officers arriving shortly after. Based on the investigation, the incident appeared to be unprovoked.<\/p>\n
Jacklich was arrested and transported to the Tuolumne County Jail. He was charged with felony assault with a deadly weapon, felony criminal threats, misdemeanor brandishing a weapon, and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
