<\/a><\/p>\n\u201cFlash! Bam! Alakazam! It\u2019s Spring!!\u201d features 13 local singers from Calaveras and Amador counties, performing choral pieces with three-part to six-part harmonies. Selections range from soothing songs like \u201cCross the Wide Missouri\u201d and \u201cScarborough Fair\u201d to jazzy, upbeat tunes such as \u201cOrange Colored Sky,\u201d \u201cIf I Were A Bell,\u201d \u201cFrim-Fram Sauce\u201d and a Manhattan Transfer medley.<\/p>\n
Mountain Melody Director Julia Shelby said, \u201cSpring is a time for renewal and rejuvenation, as well as a time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings here in our beloved foothills. The cold days are warming and wildflowers are blooming and birds and bees are buzzing about.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cOur concerts are a lovely way to bring together our local communities,\u201d Shelby continued. \u201cThis year\u2019s Spring program is designed to fill hearts with sweet songs and jazzy toe-tapping tunes, in a delightful celebration of the spring season sure to put a smile on your face and have you humming along!\u201d<\/p>\n
