The rider allowed the motorcycle to travel off the south shoulder of State Route 108 where it crashed into a tree.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-37822\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-150x150.jpg 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/chpson-30x30.jpg 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Due to the severity of the crash, the rider succumbed to his injuries at the scene.\u00a0 The rider was wearing a motorcycle helmet at the time of the crash.\u00a0 Alcohol or drugs are not suspected to be a factor in this crash.<\/p>\n<p>The crash is still under investigation and the identity of the rider is being held pending notification of his next of kin.<\/p>\n<p>Sonora Area Lieutenant Commander R. Matyshock states \u201cWarmer weather brings more motorcycle<br \/>\nriders to our mountainous community.
