{"id":202528,"date":"2026-06-15T12:00:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-15T19:00:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=202528"},"modified":"2026-06-15T12:00:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-15T19:00:20","slug":"sonora-man-arrested-for-possession-of-child-sexual-abuse-material","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/?p=202528","title":{"rendered":"Sonora Man Arrested for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sonora, CA&#8230;In February of 2026, the Tuolumne County Sheriff&#8217;s Office received a cybertip from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, in conjunction with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), for the possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), which was originally forwarded by Amazon.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/tcso18.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/tcso18.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-66596\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/tcso18.png 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/tcso18-150x150.png 150w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/09\/tcso18-30x30.png 30w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Sheriffs Office began working the investigation and identified that Roger Gary Andrews of Sonora was the owner of the Amazon account. <\/p>\n<p>On 5\/28\/2026, the Sheriffs Office Investigations Division executed a search warrant at Andrews&#8217; residence. During the search warrant, Detectives seized numerous electronic devices which are currently being processed and analyzed.  Andrews was located at his residence and was ultimately placed under arrest for possession of CSAM.<br \/>\nThis investigation is still ongoing and Detectives are following all leads.<\/p>\n<p>Update: For clarification purposes, he was not purchasing this material from Amazon.
