ALPINE COUNTY \u2013 The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform the following highway traffic controls and lane closures on State Route 4 (SR-4) \/ Ebbetts Pass for construction work next week in Alpine County. Work will occur as follows:

\nFull highway closure from Kinney Creek to Upper Cascade Creek for drainage work on Monday, August 10, from 8:15 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. CANCELLATION

\nFull highway closure near Raymond Meadows for drainage work on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

\nOne-way traffic control from the Alpine\/Calaveras County Line to Lodgepole Campground for drainage work on Tuesday, August 11, from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., and on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

\nOne-way traffic control from Bear Valley to the Alpine Ranger Station for drainage work on Tuesday, August 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and on Friday, August 14, 2026, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
