The San Andreas Officers handled 6 accidents during this time period and wrote 62 citations.  Most were for speeding including several mechanical violations.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/07\/chplogo.jpg\" alt=\"chplogo\" width=\"220\" height=\"94\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1763\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On Monday, July 4, 2016, the San Andreas Area office conducted a Sobriety\/Driver License Checkpoint on State Route 49 in San Andreas between the hours of 7 pm and 12:00 am.  A total of 481 vehicles were screened and fortunately everyone was driving sober.
