\nCollection Events have been scheduled for September 10th & 11th, 2016. Saturday, September 10th at 1191 Linebaugh Road Arnold (County Road Yard) 9:00 am \u2013 1:00 pm Saturday, September 10th at 891 Mountain Ranch Road (Government Center) 9:00 am \u2013 1:00 pm. Sunday, September 11th at 22412 Hwy 26 (Caltrans Yard) West Point 9:00 am \u2013 1:00 pm<\/p>\n

Please be aware that the HHW collection events are restricted to residents only. Residents will be required
\nto show their ID. Businesses are encouraged to contact the County to schedule delivery of their hazardous
\nwaste at our permanent HHW Building at the Rock Creek facility.<\/p>\n
We will be accepting household hazardous wastes, such as paints, solvents, stains, oil, antifreeze, pesticides,
\nherbicides, household chemicals, lawn and pool chemicals, household batteries, fluorescent bulbs, OTC
\nmedicines, needles & syringes and small propane tanks (25 gallon and less).<\/p>\n
The State Transportation Laws limit the transporting of hazardous materials to no more than 15 gallons of
\nany liquid; a maximum of 5 gallons per container or 125 pounds of any solid materials.<\/p>\n
Restrictions: Wastes that will not be accepted include Appliances, Electronics, Tires, Explosives,
\nAmmunition, Radioactive materials, and Biological wastes (except for home generated needles and syringes
\nin proper containers).
