Wildfires continue to burn throughout California and much of the state remains at high risk for wildfires. Due to the Fire Restrictions on the High and Moderate Hazard Areas, a person with a valid California Campfire Permit may only use a portable stove or lantern using gas, jellied petroleum or pressurized liquid within this area. Fire Hazard Area maps are available at any Forest Service office.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg\" alt=\"usfslogo\" width=\"200\" height=\"225\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8368\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo.jpg 200w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/usfslogo-150x169.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 200px) 100vw, 200px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Visitor may not shoot any firearm, air rifle or gas gun (this includes BB guns) from a vehicle, 150 yards of a residence, building, campsite, developed recreation site or other occupied areas.<br \/>\nHere is additional information that will aid the public in having a safe trip to the forest:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         All visitors should consider wearing bright colors to make their presence clear;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         All individuals in a hunting party must wear daylight, fluorescent orange at all times;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Beware of broken limbs and damaged trees that may fall at any time.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Look up while in the forest, especially when it\u2019s windy and be aware of your surroundings<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Follow fire restrictions orders and make sure your campfire is completely out.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7         Leave your itinerary with a friend or family member and check in with them upon your return. <\/p>\n<p>Zone maps and season dates are posted at: https:\/\/www.wildlife.ca.gov\/Hunting\/Deer#54774-zones&#8211;hunts. For information on regulations, license, tags and lotteries contact the Department of Fish and Wildlife at 209-234-3420. Deer kill can be validated at any Forest Service facility or by CA Fish and Game personnel.<br \/>\nRegulations concerning firearm use have been carefully developed to assist in promoting enjoyment and safety.
