\tGuest speaker will be Anthony Francois, Senior Staff Attorney with Pacific Legal Foundation. The slogan for Pacific Legal Foundation is \u201cCelebrating 42 Years of Rescuing Liberty from Coast to Coast,\u201d turning voices that wouldn\u2019t be heard into voices that wouldn\u2019t be silenced.
\nPacific Legal Foundation was founded in Sacramento as America\u2019s first freedom-based public interest legal organization. Drawing inspiration from then-Governor Ronald Reagan, several members of his senior staff left public service to establish Pacific Legal Foundation.<\/p>\n
Anthony Francois joined Pacific Legal Foundation\u2019s National Litigation Center in 2012. He previously worked with PLF as their California government affairs representative on all water issues. Pacific Legal Foundation represents agriculture issues before the U.S. Supreme Court. <\/p>\n
\tThe election of the 2016-2017 Board of Directors for the Tuolumne County Farm Bureau will take place at the Annual Dinner. Nominated to serve on the board are Terri Arington, Bob Brennan, Caitie Campodonico, Rachel Castongia, Jesse Cover, Shaun Crook, Rose Engler, Sasha Farkas, Ken Fleming, Bill Gaiser, Dick Gaiser, Chris Hammond, David Harris, Ron Peterson, Dave Pish, Zach Rehder, and Nathan Rosasco. <\/p>\n
Tuolumne County Farm Bureau was established in 1947, representing the interests of the agricultural community and the rural way of life. The Farm Bureau volunteers represent agribusiness on county, state and national issues of importance to Tuolumne County agriculture. Tuolumne County Farm Bureau has been actively involved in dealing with the aftermath of the Rim Fire, the Ag Element of the General Plan, and issues surrounding the water needs of Tuolumne County.<\/p>\n
