\nhelp residents remember their garbage day.If you\u2019ve ever lost track of garbage day or raced outside after hearing the garbage truck, you\u2019re in luck! <\/p>\n

CalWaste residential service customers can now sign up for customized reminders that will ensure you don\u2019t forget again. Cal-Waste is pleased to unveil a new tool that makes it easier for residents to access information abouttheir collection schedule. This web based tool allows all residents to set up reminders that can be automatically sent to you by email, text message, phone, or set in your Outlook calendar. Cal-Waste is unveiling its waste app, Cal-Waste Recycles Right, for iPhone and Android smartphones.<\/p>\n

Once you have the app or are signed up online, you can opt in to receive weekly reminders. You will also be notified of schedule changes due to weather, holidays and upcoming events. Additionally, you will receive information about seasonal campaigns such as bulky waste clean ups, Christmas tree recycling, and Handy Haulers for Spring Cleanup.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnother great feature of the new app is the \u2018Waste Wizard\u2019 lookup. If you are not sure how to dispose of an item, you can do a quick search and it will let you know whether it can be recycled, and where it should go,\u201d said Dave Vaccarezza, Owner of Cal-Waste<\/p>\n

Cal-Waste will continue to produce and distribute printed waste collection calendars. This is an additional tool to provide you convenient way to get the information you need.<\/p>\n
