Improvements include extending the height of the tower from 120\u2019 to 132\u2019 with the addition of six panel antennae, constructing several new ground cabinets, new cable lines, and a 15KW standby diesel generator with a 54 gallon fuel tank with the appropriate safety signage. Verizon will also install a new 6 ft. tall chain link fence with three strands of barbed wire along the top and a retaining wall.

\nNOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Calaveras County Planning Department has prepared a Negative Declaration\/Initial Study, pursuant to the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), for the above described project.
\nPUBLIC REVIEW PERIOD: A 20 day public review period for the Negative Declaration\/Initial Study will commence on November 9, 2016 through November 29, 2016 for interested individuals and public agencies to submit written comments on the document. Any written comments on the Negative Declaration\/Initial Study must be received at the above address within the public review period. Copies of the Negative Declaration\/Initial Study are available for review at the above address or by contacting Scott Speer sspeer@co.calaveras.ca.us in the Planning Department.
\nPursuant to Government Code 65009, if anyone challenges the above listed issues in a court of law, the challenge may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raise during the public review process, as described in this notice.
