Angels Camp, CA…This free annual event taking place on November 26th is now in its fifth year and kicks off at 4:00 pm. Caroling in front of the Calaveras Visitors Center at 4:15 serenades the lighting of the Christmas tree at 4:30 p. Next up is the Parade of Lights through historic downtown where locals and visitors alike line this classic Gold Rush street to enjoy the pretty sights.<\/p>\n

Here Main Street merchants are open late serving up treats, discounts on merchandise and wine tasting. Santa is available for photos on the porch at the Visitors Center, immediately following the parade and food trucks will be selling pizza, hot chocolate and other toasty goodies for an evening\u2019s entertainment of carols from Mountain Melody Women\u2019s Choir.
