Petersburg Road in Vehicle-1 (Ford), west of N. Shore Ct.  Winge needed to make a U-turn, but the reverse gear in Vehicle-1 was not functioning (a previously known issue).  Phelps got out of Vehicle-1 to push it backwards, due to the reverse gear not functioning. Phelps was life flighted to Modesto Memorial for treatment of the major injuries he sustained.  <\/p>\n<p>Drugs and\/or alcohol were not a contributing factor in this collision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>San Andreas, CA&#8230;Winge and Phelps were traveling westbound on S.
