The driver allowed his vehicle to drift onto the west shoulder of SR-49( right). The driver turned his vehicle to the left and lost control. The vehicle entered onto the east (left) shoulder of SR-49 and impacted a raised asphalt curb. Bernal, the passenger was transported by air ambulance to Modesto Memorial Hospital.<\/p>\n<p>SR-49 was fully closed for nearly 30 minutes and open for one-way traffic for approximately 35 minutes before being fully opened in both directions around 7:35 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Alcohol and\/ or drugs are not believed to have been a factor in this collision.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>San Andreas, CA&#8230;Party one was driving southbound on SR-49 at an unknown speed.
