San Andreas, CA…Peacefully Sarah Louise Locke passed away in her sleep while at her home in San Andreas, California. She lost her courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, February 23. <\/p>\n
She was born on October 16, 1934 in Norwich, New York to Harriett and Gerald Marvin. Sarah received a Bachelor of Science in accounting from California State University, Stanislaus and a Master\u2019s of Divinity from Golden Gate Seminary. She was active in the St. Matthew\u2019s Church and the San Andreas\u2019 Loose Thread\u2019s Quilting Club. <\/p>\n
Sarah is survived by her five children: Charles (Paradise, CA), Levi (Santa Clarita, CA), John (Railroad Flat, CA), Nelson (Lathrop, CA) and Sylvia (San Andreas, CA), her grandchildren include: Nelson II, Brandt, Walter, Tyler, Jessica, Evan, Tristan, Doug, Derek, Davis, Dezjani and Daz. Great-grandchildren include: Sebastian, Makenzie, and Melody. The siblings that preceded Sarah\u2019s passing were: Edward, Donald, Janice, Becky, as well as daughter Phyllis and grandson Cyril.<\/p>\n
Throughout her life Sarah overcame many obstacles, pain and barriers to raise her family as a single mom. The legacy she leaves behind is her loving family who are a living testament to her will and determination.
