Noah Tidwell was a passenger in the back seat.  As Lane came to a curve to his left, he lost control of his vehicle and allowed it to run off the roadway where it traveled through two wire fences then collided with a large pine tree before coming to a stop.  Lane was wearing a seatbelt but suffered major injuries and was taken by air ambulance to Modesto Memorial Hospital for treatment.
