It is also a strong testament to his character that in February of this year the Mark Twain Health Care District awarded Dr. Kifune the Health Care Delivery Award at the fifth annual Golden Health Awards.\u201d<\/p>\n
He obtained his BS in biological sciences with distinction at Stanford University. Graduating with honors from the University Of California Irvine College Of Medicine, Dr. Kifune then went on to complete his family practice residency San Joaquin General Hospital.<\/p>\n
Dr. Kifune was in private practice in Arnold for 24 years, and most recently was the Medical Director for the MACT (Mariposa, Amador, Calaveras, Tuolumne) Health Board for thirteen years. In addition to returning to practicing in Arnold he will continue serving in the role as a Hospitalist, at the Mark Twain Medical Center.
\nIn serving the Arnold area, Dr. Kifune will join the healthcare team of Stephanie Peffer, Nurse Practitioner; and Ann Radford, Nurse Practitioner.<\/p>\n
