Who We Are:
\nWe are a volunteer group of citizens who care about the destiny and welfare of companion animals. We try to pick up where the county government leaves off.<\/p>\n
We are a local non-profit organization.
\nOur challenge is local animal welfare, not animal rights.<\/p>\n
The Calaveras Humane Society relies on local donations and does not accept funding from, nor support from, national animal rights organizations or humane societies.<\/p>\n
