Thermal belt areas in the foothills<br \/>\n  only cooling into the mid 70s to lower 80s for nighttime lows.<\/p>\n<p>* IMPACTS&#8230;Long outdoor exposure will increase chances for heat<br \/>\n  related illness, especially for sensitive groups and people<br \/>\n  without access to AC. Heat stress possible for livestock with<br \/>\n  limited relief from the heat overnight. Area waterways running<br \/>\n  very cold and fast, increasing risk for hypothermia and water<br \/>\n  rescues.<\/p>\n<p>PRECAUTIONARY\/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>A Heat Advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is<br \/>\nexpected. Very hot temperatures can create a situation in which<br \/>\nheat illness is possible. Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-<br \/>\nconditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives<br \/>\nand neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside. When<br \/>\npossible, reschedule strenuous activities to the early morning or<br \/>\nevening. Know the signs and symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat<br \/>\nstroke.
