<\/p>\nMurphys, CA…Celebrate our nation\u2019s Independence Day with an old-fashioned Independence Day concert by the Calaveras Community Band in beautiful Murphys Park on Algiers Street, Monday, July 3rd at 6:30 PM. The Band will play patriotic favorites, marches, swing and popular tunes from the past under the baton of conductor Mic Harper. <\/p>\n

Bring your folding chairs and perhaps a picnic dinner to enjoy a free family friendly concert on a summer evening in Murphys Park. The Band rehearses and performs in the Park during the summer season thanks to the generosity of Murphys Community Club. The Calaveras Community Band brings musicians of all ages and musical skills together to enjoy learning and performing traditional and at times innovative community band music. We are always seeking new musicians to join us in keeping community band music alive in Calaveras County.<\/p>\n
