San Andreas, CA…The Mark Twain Medical Center Foundation & Volunteers announce they are accepting applications for scholarships for the fall 2017 semester. Two adult scholarships will be awarded for $1000.00 to a Mark Twain Medical Center employee, or family member of an employee who wishes to further his or her career in health care. The applicant must present enrollment or acceptance verification of matriculation to a junior college or university. The scholarship will be paid directly to the winning applicant upon the receipt and proof of enrollment.<\/p>\n

About Mark Twain Medical Center Volunteers \u2013 Today there are 25 Volunteers at Mark Twain Medical Center that are committed to providing services to patients in a caring, respectful manner. They honor the individual worth and dignity of each patient and members of their families in direct and vital ways. The volunteers not only donate many hours of their time at the hospital, they also speed hours making quilts and crafts for their annual bazar sale funds form the bazar support t Scholarship Programs for Calaveras County students embarking on a career in healthcare and Mark Twain Medical Center employees advancement of healthcare education.
