Conditions:\tFirefighters worked through the night establishing and reinforcing containment lines. Much of the fire is steep and rugged with areas difficult to access. Damage assessment crews have completed approximately 80% of their assessment of damaged and destroyed buildings. The weather is expected to be hot and dry with winds out of the West-Northwest. The fire continues to challenge firefighters in drought stricken chaparral and in an area of severe tree mortality. Power lines supplying power to Yosemite National Park continue to be threatened.
