Wireless customers can make a $10 donation to assist those affected by texting REDCROSS to 90999 to support the American Red Cross. Customers can text up to five times for a total donation of $50. AT&#038;T won\u2019t charge any fees for texting to donate. Customers will see their donation on their monthly AT&#038;T bill. AT&#038;T\u2019s mobile cell site called Satellite Cell on Light Truck (or Sat COLT) continues to run at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds to provide communications support at the Detwiler Fire Command Site. The location is hosting Cal Fire first responders, who are leading the Detwiler fire response.<\/p>\n<p>AT&#038;T\u2019s Sat COLT provides cellular service in the deployment area, and is targeted to support those working in the command site to help keep communications flowing. As a self-contained mobile cell site, a Sat COLT can be quickly set up to replace lost capacity from a damaged permanent site, or as in this case, provide supplemental cellular capacity to an area experiencing an increase in demand.
