The remaining residents displaced by the fire are staying in shelters in located in Oakhurst, Calif., approximately 30 miles away.  Mandatory evacuation orders for Mariposa have been lifted, and the Red Cross is consolidating sheltering operation and transitioning affected residents closer to their supportive community to the shelter located at Mariposa Elementary School.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/redcrosslogo.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"451\" height=\"203\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-15948\" srcset=\"https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/redcrosslogo.jpg 451w, https:\/\/new.thepinetree.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/redcrosslogo-300x135.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 451px) 100vw, 451px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe know that being closer to their homes will help them in their recovery,\u201d said Anne Reynolds, American Red Cross Pacific Division Disaster Director. \u201cWe are working closely with our government partners and other agencies to make this happen over the next 24 hours.
